About Us – Comfort by Lake Barkley
Years ago, our parents rented homes in the area for fun-filled family vacations, eventually moving to the Lil’ Gray Lakehouse. My sister, Jo and I decided to keep our parents’ home. And share it with others so they can experience comfort by Lake Barkley!
Booking with us comes with many advantages. Firstly, you have access to the entire home! Which is within walking distance of the lake, Hu-B’s Marina (seasonal hours), and a swimming/recreation area. The marina offers rentals, lake essentials, food, and nightlife. Home not available for long term renting, day workers or parties.
The home sleeps up to 14 people; so we have space for you and your family. Regardless of whether you are planning a solo fishing trip or a getaway family vacation! In addition to the various sleeping arrangements, our vacation home offers accessible entry into the main living area of the home, a fully functional kitchen, an outside grill, multiple family spaces, three full baths (one with a handicapped-accessible shower), and four outside gathering areas for family fun. Because your booking covers the entire home, all amenities are yours and yours alone for the duration of your stay!
Finally, the Lil’ Gray Lake House is close to many local attractions, including the Land Between the Lakes National Recreation Area and Kentucky Lake. So our vacation home is great for fishing, relaxing, or exploring the beauty of Old Kuttawa. The Lil’ Gray Lake House has it all! Including cable and Wi-Fi, beautiful views of Lake Barkley, and the walking trails of Kuttawa. Enjoy your stay!
